What’s in my bag?
After checking in for our staycation (another post), I was waiting for Husband to end his call. I got bored and started taking selfies. But there are only that many I can take right…
And then…. Since I am a YouTube fanatic, I got reminded and inspired that I can do my own “What’s in my bag”.
Just before I start to empty my bag, Husband ended his call liao….. 🤦🏻♀️ so, we went for lunch.
I am determined to do this “What’s in my bag” and started taking pictures.
- 1. Longchamp bag, can put laptop also
- 2. Coach cross body bag, roomy and can out in many things
- 3. Pouch 1
- 4. Pen for my journalling
- 5. Dental floss, coz forgotten to put into toiletries pouch
- 6. Hair ties, thrown into my bag when I had long hair (just cut hair over the weekend only, not that long)
- 7. Pouch 2
- 8. Recycling bag. A little GoGreen effort
- 9. Cute white tiger ears clips. Selling them and hoping to meet Buyer these 2 days
I sew these 2 pouches myself a couple of years back. I used the owl one to put in my Jabra ear buds, which I had lost the casing before (spent $100 to replace it). So just to play safe, I now put my ear buds in a pouch. Yes, there was a tissue wrapper inside as I was unable to locate a bin then.
I used the green pouch for my Xiaomi power bank and cables.
Instead of carrying out a big bag, I only use my cross body bag when we go out for meals/ walks. Very convenient and free up my hands. I am using LeBante London vegan wallet which I love. It has a secret message that says “I am enough”. I was able to slot in the room key card in the front slot for convenience.
I bring along 2 spectacles boxes with me – 1 for regular glasses and 1 for my Polaroid prescribed sunglasses. It is not the most fashionable but I can’t do without Polaroid now. This frame was from my mum, who finds that this is too big for her and hence I use it for sunglasses.
I also has another pouch with me which I put in a bottle of sanitiser and a small tube of hand cream. In addition to using the sanitiser for my hands, I also use it to sanitise toilet seats before actually sitting down. I have tried to pee and not sit on toilet seats, but really cannot. I cannot imagine what will happen if I missed cue and peed my pants instead. 🤦🏻♀️😱 (Ok, a bit TMI)
Last but not least, I have a 2nd recycling bag with me sometimes, just in case. Real light and real useful on shopping days. It is always easier to carry your shopping on your shoulders than in your hands. #practical
I drink a lot of water and this is something I cannot do without. I am using Camelbak which holds 700ml of water.
And of course, I have my mobile phone along with me all along. That’s all I have in my staycation bag!
